Returns & Refunds Policy
At Catering and Event, we stand behind the Premium Build Quality of our equipment. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help you resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
1. Return Period

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for your items.

To be eligible for a return, the equipment must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
2. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed via your original method of payment ( Instant EFT, or Bank Transfer).

Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account once the refund is approved.
3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your equipment (such as ovens, fridges, or popcorn machines) arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

We will arrange for a repair, replacement, or full refund for defective units in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
4. Non-Returnable Items

Custom-ordered equipment or items modified specifically for your event needs cannot be returned.

Catering supplies or perishables that have been opened or used for hygiene and safety reasons.
5. Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Shipping costs from the original order (the R579 flat rate) are non-refundable.

If you receive a refund for a defective item, the cost of return shipping will be covered by Catering and Event.
